GFI was entrusted by ST Engineering to undertake the critical installation of a 20-ton overhead crane within their new state-of-the-art engine maintenance facility at KAIA. Our scope encompassed the complete end-to- end process, from the precise erection of the crane’s runway girders to the final electrical integration and load testing. The project was executed to stringent international aviation standards, ensuring absolute operational safety and reliability for handling high-value aircraft engines. This successful installation now provides ST Engineering with a vital asset for their MRO operations, supporting the growing aviation sector in Jeddah.
